The Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation needed to develop just the right event to successfully bring together for the first time the members of the American Patriot Campaign Leadership Cabinet consisting of Fortune 500 CEO’s who had contributed $100,000 or more to the Foundation. We assisted the Foundation in creating the American Patriot Campaign Leadership Summit chaired by Fred Smith, Chairman, CEO, Founder of FedEx Corporation; Geoffrey Stack, Managing Director, SARES-REGIS Group; and Bob Stevens, Chairman, President and CEO, Lockheed Martin.
To further attract the “right level” of participation, we worked with the Foundation and General James P. Amos, then Vice Commandant of the Marine Corps to orchestrate a Marine Current Operations Brief conducted by General Amos in the National Military Command Center in the Pentagon. The opportunity for an exclusive briefing at the Pentagon by General Amos and an exclusive dinner hosted by Fred Smith and Bob Stevens at The Willard Intercontinental Hotel attracted 100 corporate CEO’s and individuals of high net worth yielding $1.4 million in commitments. The concept was so successful DatocWitten Group was re-engaged to produce the 2010, 2011 and 2012 American Patriots Campaign Leadership Cabinet Summits which included a Marine Corps Operations briefing and dinner at the Home of the Commandants.
