Rebecca brings to the DatocWitten Group, Inc. nearly 20 years of fundraising experience and has generated more than $100M for a variety of non-profit organizations. Her skill set includes developing and executing strategic fundraising campaigns, high-level donor relationship cultivation and outreach, volunteer and board fundraising capacity building, corporate and foundation program development, and special event fundraising.
Most recently, Rebecca spent 10 years at the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) building their corporate and foundation philanthropic program and expanding it by more than 200%. She developed the organization’s philanthropic model and institutionalized a fundraising department.
Prior to her time at NRPA, Rebecca worked for Hayes & Associates, raising funds for clients such as the March of Dimes, Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation, Fisher House Foundation, USO, American Red Cross, and Reading Is Fundamental.
Rebecca received her MBA and Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from Ohio University. As the youngest in a military family, Rebecca lived all over the world as a child. But now Rebecca and her two sons claim Herndon, VA as their home.
Fun Fact: Rebecca is the owner of the world’s worst dog, Hank, a cute but rotten Shichon.
