Kristi has been a Public Relations professional in the Washington, DC area for more than two decades. She has worked on a broad spectrum of communications campaigns for numerous clients including The American Red Cross, Military Spouse of the Year, Angels in Adoption, The Cinderella Ball, and The Passport Auto Group.

Kristi concentrates her efforts on media outreach, logistics, and coordination of high profile participants in special events. She has worked with White House officials, high-ranking military officials, CEOs of Fortune 500 companies, and many celebrities, including Stevie Wonder, Betsey Johnson, Clay Aiken, Bill Cosby, Jordin Sparks, Tom Selleck, Mary Tyler Moore, and Paul DiMeo. She pursues a wide range of media opportunities for clients and has nurtured contacts with national, local, and trade press. As a result, she is highly successful at placing feature stories in leading national and local publications, most notably a Business Week cover story, and numerous articles and stories in the Wall Street Journal, the Washington Post, the Washington Business Journal, and national broadcasts including CNN, Good Morning America, The Today Show, and Washington DC network affiliates.  In addition to personalized media contacts, Kristi partners with PRNewswire and photo wire services to generate additional coverage, when appropriate.

Kristi joined the DatocWitten team when the company was founded in 2009. Since then, she has been developing story angles and pitching ideas to create unique media opportunities for DatocWitten clients, ensuring each and every project is an outreach success.

Kristi earned a degree in Political Science from the University of Arkansas, where she was involved in student government and an active member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority. Kristi lives in Mason Neck, Virginia with two dogs, two cats, and her husband with whom she has two grown daughters, one a recent graduate of the University of Virginia and one who is currently at Virginia Tech. They are a house divided.

FUN FACT:  Kristi is a life-long athlete. She was a Kansas all-state gymnast and played golf on the boys’ team in high school. Her current sport of choice is tennis.
